STONEWALL STUDIO

The Stonewall Studio is a multi-functional space that is currently mostly used for yoga lessons or other physical activities that do not require tables or chairs.

The Stonewall Rebellion was a pivotal event in LGBTQIA+ history.

In late June 1969, in New York City, queer, transgender, and gender nonconforming people at the Stonewall Inn, other Village bars, and people living on the street nearby stood up against a violent police raid.

Initiated by trans and queer people of colour, the Stonewall Riots sparked the social movement for LGBTQIA+ rights and led to greater visibility, legal rights and the continued fight for freedom in the US and beyond.

The Stonewall Studio is not wheelchair accessible.
