The February strike room is a separate meeting room for max ~15 people. It will soon have its own tea-coffee corner as well!
Never again fascism.
On February 25, 1941, tens of thousands of workers in Amsterdam participated in a general strike against the persecution of Dutch Jews by the Nazi occupiers and their Dutch collaborators. A day later, workers in other cities also put down their tools.
Initiated by the outlawed Communist Party of the Netherlands, and violently repressed by the Nazi’s, the February Strike was the first massive act of public protest against the persecution of the Dutch Jewish population.
The February strike room is not wheelchair accessible.
