SOWETO UPRISING HALL the main space, which can host up to 50 people and it comes with a refreshment counter, video projector and sound system.
ABYA YALA KITCHEN is connected to Soweto Hall and is strictly for preparing vegan meals. It is a semi-professional industrial kitchen, but there is no possibility to store food.
FEBRUARY STRIKE ROOM is a separate meeting room for 15 people available for more private gatherings. It will soon have its own tea-coffee corner as well!
STONEWALL STUDIO is a multi-functional space that is currently mostly used for yoga lessons or other physical activities that do not require tables or chairs.
ENTRE-SOL SPACE is a ~50 m2 multi-functional space that is in-between renters during November and December 2024, which means that it can be reserved for social, cultural and political activities.
GARDEN is accessible until 10pm during events. It has a fireplace but no shelter from weather.
ACCESSIBILITY: The Soweto Uprising Hall and the Abya Yala Kitchen are wheelchair accessible but our toilets are not! The February Strike Room, the Entre Sol space and the Stonewall Studio are not wheelchair accessible. The nearest public spaces with wheelchair accessible toilets are Tropen Museum (open Tuesday-Saturday 10-17H) and hotel The Manor (open 24/7).
